With the products and expertise of the Paints & Coatings Products Group behind it, GEO Specialty Chemicals claims the #1 global position in specialty coating polyols for high performance alkyd and polyester liquid and powder resins using trimethylolethane (TME), as well as an economical way of producing polyurethane dispersions using dimethylolpropionic (DMPA^®) acid. Trimet Products Group is also a merchant supplier of calcium formate and formaldehyde solutions.

For more than 70 years, GEO Specialty Chemicals Water Treatment Chemicals Group has provided water treatment chemicals and products for municipal water, industrial wastewater, paper mill, oil and gas production and agricultural customers. The Water Treatment Chemicals Group began by producing aluminum sulfate.
